This two-part documentary follows a journalist who takes a cross-country trip by Canadian railway, right before it closes down for good. The railway runs through ten provinces and five time zones, stretching from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean. It is considered to have shaped the country, as many people in both metropolitan cities and isolated towns have depended on it for so long.
