Solidarity tourism is increasingly appealing to people who are aware of the impact their stay can have on the local population. In the documentary mini-series Les voyageurs solidaires, a public figure visits a place impacted by mass tourism in order to discover and support an ecological association. Accompanied and guided, camera in hand, by journalist-documentarian Stéphane Basset, each guest will become a solidarity traveler, by assisting an association in its local actions and by confiding, in complete privacy, about their life journey.
