The oral tradition of storytelling is so important for our generation and part of what Nahko and Medicine for the People are trying to convey through their music is accountability and empowerment. The band embraces Bob Marley's idea of world-bridging and bringing people together to resolve differences. They believe music is a tool to create, heal, and activate people to change their surroundings.
