Antoine, a very poor young musician, gives piano lessons to children twice a week. After a while, he runs out of pupils. In his gloomy suburban bedroom, behind his fake keyboard painted on the table, Antoine feels deeply discouraged. He tries to compose a ballet, but feels unable to go beyond the sixteenth bar.
