The Fuseta Judicial Police find a man's body with a wax-soaked feather lodged in his eye. For Inspector Leander Lost (Jan Krauter) and Sub-Inspectors Graciana Rosado (Eva Meckbach) and Carlos Esteves (Daniel Christensen), a puzzling case begins. His colleague Duarte (Anton Weil) recognizes the signature of a serial killer and travels to Seville to re-examine past cases. Shortly afterward, a retired teacher is murdered in Fuseta. What appears to be a burglary with fatal complications is revealed by Lost to be a deliberate red herring. And with the help of his photographic memory, he finally uncovers the connection between the murders.
