Shen Zhuoran is a retired literature professor, with a full family and three generations living together. After the passing of his wife, encouraged by an old friend, he embarks on a journey of blind dates. He encounters four potential partners along the way. A considerate nurse leaves due to housing issues, a female scientist quietly departs after her cancer recurrence, a union leader's dominance causes psychological strain, and a partner who closely resembles his late wife presents a difficult request.
