Savón recognizes the strength and courage that Ginebra has, but asks her to accept that they are the ones in charge and to analyze the proposal she made to him. Elvira announces Lupita as the winner of the Taco Queen and recognizes Paz's mother's cooking qualities. Porfirio and Lupita kiss in front of everyone in attendance. Ginebra refuses to become Savón's slave, Mauro assures her that only then will they be able to destroy her enemies. Mauro kneels in front of Savón and begs for his help to get Ginebra out of jail and in exchange, he is willing to do anything they ask of him.
