Benigna and Manolita take turns caring for baby Félix, the son of Marta Novoa, who is trying to close an advertising deal with the new weekly magazine *España Siete Días*, directed by Ernesto Ortega. In the newsroom, we find Llanos, Teresa — Quintero’s wife — and Lalo. Javier, the son of the Ortega couple, returns home to the joy of Matilde, Ernesto’s wife. Durán discovers his father’s name in a letter left to him by his late mother: Ricardo Osuna, a journalist like himself. María lives in Miami with her boyfriend, Rubén Salazar, a film and television producer, although not everything is as it seems. Durán contacts Ortega, since he knew his father, and Ortega confirms that Ricardo Osuna committed suicide.
