Using the excuse of performing a dance at the banquet, she led a group of noblewomen into the palace. The Empress instructed Shaoshang to temporarily arrange for them to stay in Consort Yue's Yongle Palace. However, on the way, the Fifth Princess seized a moment when Shaoshang was unprepared, pushing her into the river.
