Jack "Madman" Buckner is an old-school newspaper editor: he speaks his mind, makes lots of enemies, and doesn't sweat the little details. However, his young boss has different ideas about how a newspaper should be run and has no intention of putting up with what she sees as Jack's outdated attitude. Worse yet, she's Jack's daughter. They'll have to iron out their professional and family issues if they want to meet their deadlines.
