A hopeful nursing graduate, Eugene (Rodjun Cruz) was forced to swallow the reality of adulthood upon finding out that her mother Leny (Lani Mercado) was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Thinking that a grandchild would ease her mother's pain, he fully embraces being a father when he conceived a baby with his eventual wife, Anna (Kris Bernal). Hurdles will come after the married couple when Eugene experiences abuse from his wife, which is unusual for their kind of setup. How long will he endure this burden without getting humiliated especially by his own father Pablo (Phillip Salvador)?
