The story depicted the daily life of three waiters who worked at a food catering business owned by Madame Clô: the lonely Oscar, who lived with two elderly and funny ladies, Mrs. Béa and Mrs. Angelina, and was forsaken by his own son; Juliano, who had a riotous relationship with his sensual wife Shirley, whom he was very jealous of; and Nestor. A new waiter arrives, Otávio, willing to avenge his father's death. He believes the business belonged to his family, so he had plans to take it over for himself. But he falls in love with Madame Clô's daughter, Vanessa, and it all gets complicated.
