When a cop Terrell knows is found dead with a lot of cash on him, it's assumed that he may have been dirty. Terrell doesn't believe and neither does his father, they both set out to find out the truth. It seems like he was working on finding out if there was anything strange going on at the horse racing track. And it also seems he was enamored with one of the owners who may or may not be involved with what's going on at the track.
