In the taste test, the judges served a dish made of 43 ingredients to home cooks and asked to identify the ingredients. Abdul, Manisha, Manoj, Sai Sri and Sourabh won the challenge. Rest had to face the elimination challenge. Chef Mahesh revealed that the dish they tasted was his signature dish called "Sapta Sammohanam". He asked the cooks to replicate this signature dish within an hour and a half. Jaideep and Tejasvi passed the challenge. Sarat was eliminated from the show.
