Kamal scored positively and placed in the Top 14. The other ten cooks in the Top 20 were given the chance to cook their signature dish within the hour to win MasterChef aprons. Six cooks won and ranked in to Top 14. Others were eliminated. All eliminated cooks were given a second chance to win the apron. They have to win a skill test and then food test. Three cooks won the challenges. The winners were ranked in the Top 14. Manoj got placed in the Top 14 on condition that he had to face an elimination challenge to secure his place. The others were eliminated.
