Brazil is known for its traditional psychoactive plants, widely used in spiritual ceremonies. Under the guidance of a master, the family undergoes a rapé ritual - inhaling sacred snuff. They also encounter the Santo Daime religion, which blends Catholicism, animism and ayahuasca. The religion practitioners appear secretive, but finally the family is allowed to participate - including a ritual meant to drive a "bad spirit" out of their marriage.
