This is Eric's story, and it starts with his father leaving the enormous responsibility of raising the family to his mother Emy. With the burden of a son who's still in school Emy resorts to being a prostitute. But it is this very same sacrifice that will make Eric take the road away from home to the bright lights of the city, oblivious of the more complex maze he is about to face.
