SmokeTwo groups of Indigenous strangers are dropped deep into the mountains of British Columbia, hoping to travel 25 days through Syilx territory and live as the ancestors have on the land since time immemorial.

FlameHoping to find a better source of food, one group travels by foot, crossing ice cold rivers to get closer to the lakes edge. Much to their surprise they encounter another group of Adventurers. Together they begin to work on a new shelter but the lack of fire begins pushing them to their breaking point.

WeaveThe group of six decided to walk further up lake, travelling as Elder Dixon had suggesting his ancestors did. The lack of knowledge to harvest food and homesickness are crushing the spirits of some

FourThe heavy rains have poured on the group for days. Now down to four Adventurers from the six they started with, their spirits are low. But they fight back against adversity, taking to the lake in dugout canoes gifted for their journey.

TrapThe sun finally breaks bringing with it the return of Sean, back from hospitalization. His desire to rejoin the group and journey inspires the others to push forward. An Elder teaching brings hope for food as they paddle to a new camp.

StruggleThe strain of the journey has tempers flaring, and newest member Skylene begins to question if she is even able to continue. Showing resilience and communicating, the group are brought together by some profound words from an Elder.

SmokerA gift of food and teachings on how to prepare and preserve it bring a new sense of accomplishment to the journey. Coming together they also prepare and enjoy a squirrel, while delicious for some it is too hard to handle for others.

FishThe Adventurers decided to leave the lake system behind, and as the season begins to change, they point their dugout canoes downriver, braving the ice cold, dangerous currents in search of salmon running.

MedicineWith their shelter on the edge of a picturesque waterway, they have found the pace of living on the land. The Adventurers welcome a medicine teaching, learning that much of what grows around them could help them along their journey

HideTravelling to a new camp is difficult against the deadly currents. One wrong move could be costly. As they begin shelter set up, an Elder invites them to learn how he harvests.

DrumStill living deep in the mountain valley, the Adventurers are brought together by a teaching that ties into the last, they are overjoyed to learn to make their own drums.

JourneyQuick changing weather has them paddling against the fast waters, trying to get further down river and find a safer area to make camp.
