They know that there will be a good deal of disapproval when they do. But their secret is blown when Alistair makes an unannounced visit. He has come to tell Nicky some great news- he and Gunther have settled their dispute, and Alistair has bought a farm to carry on with his research. Nicky is pleased for him despite her worries that he has ulterior motives.
