The Military Makeover team is hard at work at the Hixon home. Check out all the progress, from new flooring to state-of-the-art fencing, a trip to SeaWorld, and more. U.S. Navy veteran Chris Hixon served his country during Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield and deployed to Iraq as a reservist in 2007. After surviving combat service, Chris lost his life while heroically defending students and teachers during a mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14, 2018. He is survived by his wife Debra and their two sons, Thomas and Corey. The renovations begin to take shape as the teams enlists expert help from generous organizations eager to honor and give back to military families. Tarkett installs new flooring, while Ceasarstone supplies new countertops in the kitchen. Then, the new roof from ABC Supply Co. is finally taking shape. Plus, Master Halco finishes the fencing system. You won't believe it: City Furniture is supplying all of the stylish furniture needed for the Hixon home. Yes, all of it.
