Kate has promised to be a bridesmaid at her distant friend Gabrielle's wedding. But when the fiance Andrew dumps her two weeks before the wedding, Kate reluctantly agrees to help her when he insists to have the ring back. She quickly learns how overbearing Gabrielle can be when she is not allowed to date Gary, one of Andrew's friends.
