S5 • E9 Nov 14, 1965Misterogers shows a ring-neck pheasant and asks his viewers to hop and dance around to music. He wonders if X the Owl is flying today. Later he shows a film of a dance lesson. Misterogers says that his daily visits begin tomorrow. X the Owl tells Daniel Striped Tiger about seeing a giant pheasant in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. The giant pheasant is actually a man in costume. The man shows off his baby to Daniel and X.
