A corpse in pieces is keeping the Lübeck police busy. First, a seagull drops a finger into a tourist's beer glass, and then a dead woman with missing fingers is recovered from the banks of the Trave River. According to pathologist Strahl, the body had been lying in the water for at least two days. Initially, the dead woman's identity was difficult to determine. Her wedding ring finally puts investigators on the right track. She worked as a tour guide in Lübeck, is married to a carpenter, and has a 19-year-old son. Who had an interest in killing the woman? Perhaps the somewhat eccentric tour guide Lenker or her jealous husband, who, however, has a solid alibi? Things aren't going well at Finn Kiesewetter and Elke Rasmussen's house: Finn's ex-girlfriend Susanne from Uckermark has announced her visit. Unfortunately, Finn forgot to tell Elke. Elke then tries to make Finn jealous with her ex-husband Lars Englen. He immediately misunderstands this and hopes for a renewed rapprochement with her. To make matters worse, Aunt Ria is arrested for releasing 3,000 minks during a nighttime animal protection operation. Finn organizes a first meeting between his two aunts, who haven't spoken to each other since leaving the tea shop. His plan works, and they reconcile.
