Koji Yakusho stars as Hirayama, a public toilet cleaner, who is mostly silent and enjoys the small pleasures of life. From his trees, to his cassettes, to his bike rides, Hirayama lives a structured and repetitive existence in a minimalist apartment appreciating the small things in life.
