Quinn and Vorden are trying to help Peter, who's struggling with his vampire transformation. Quinn finds Peter and uses his blood to calm him down temporarily. Meanwhile, Vorden tries to cut off his own arm to save Peter but can't bring himself to do it, so Raten takes control and does it instead. Quinn returns with Peter, who's now craving human flesh, and Vorden's severed arm is used to satiate Peter's hunger.
