From Wilco's reports Vega concludes this must be the work of the Rider of Apocalypse, who uses terribly extensive powers to start a solar eclipsed leading to eternal darkness. First he must get hold of the unicorn, his positive counterpart, whose magical horn isn't visible to mortals. Frantically seeking the rider, arrived as a motor rider and abusing compulsion powers on Cooper, the trio ignores the only local who accidentally met the unicorn.
