War Quilts - Explore brilliantly colored wool quilts made by men during wartime that were on exhibit at the International Quilt Study Center and Museum. Drilling for Perfection - General John J. Pershing formed a rifle drill team at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln more than a century ago. Though the Nebraska team stopped performing a decade ago, a batch of new cadets have restarted the program with hopes to restore the proud tradition of the Pershing Rifles on the campus where it all began. Huskers March the Rose Parade - Follow the Cornhusker Marching Band's first appearance in the prestigious Rose Bowl Parade. In 1941, the same year the Cornhusker football team made their first ever bowl appearance at the Rose Bowl.
