Kolache Queen - Nadine Racek knows her way around dough. So much so that she has been deemed the Kolache Queen by those who know her for her delicious Czech pastries. (She's baked as many as 1500 kolaches for one order.) As delicious as her koloches are, Nadine, herself, is much sweeter than her pastries could ever be. Made By Hand / Delivered By Bike - He calls himself "Johnny Salsa" and his homemade salsa is a recipe passed down to him from his grandmother. If you want a jar of his spicy goodness he'll deliver it personally-by bike. Play Me I'm Yours - Omaha artists participated in an international experiment where they decorated pianos that were installed around the city and resulted in impromptu street concerts. Bob Gibson's Legacy - He's an Omaha native who played 17 years with the St. Louis Cardinals and he's been in the Baseball Hall of Fame since 1981. Recently, his hometown honored pitcher Bob Gibson by commissioning a statue--which is anything but static. Nebraska Land and Sky - A British aerial photography team spent 10 days capturing Nebraska from above. In this sneak preview of an upcoming NET Television Special, Nebraska's magnificent land and sky are set to the words of former U.S. Poet Laureate Ted Kooser. It's a new perspective on what some refer to as the flyover State. The Haunting of the Argo Hotel - In 1911, the Argo Hotel in Crofton was equipped with the modern technology of the day - electricity and running water. It was also home to a few ghosts and even a famous Hollywood starlet. Today, the Argo is beautifully restored and haunted only by the memories of its rich past.
