Mason overhears a hotel call, thus learns that Brennan has a Sydney lover and tells Kate, who, after preventing a brawl between her rivals, dumps Mark, as she seemed to be working up to anyway. Paul deals with new hotel manager Therese's petty continuous pestering on top of demanding payment for his owner perks, reducing him to a staff discount. Mason dumps Kate, refusing to be her second pick.
