Bailey enters the local story telling competition as practice for his Space camp application interview, but Matt and Lou give him contradictory advice, neither of which works, so he's too embarrassed to come next. Despute Josh pointing out he doesn't even carry a grudge against Amber anymore, and suspects Imogen is so bitterly against Daniel because she always abuses potential boyfriends, she not only refuses like Amber to end their fight, but abuses the competition to tell 'their story' with Smurf-aliases. Amber replicates with a conciliatory offer, to Daniel's taste, only to be ordered to sell Mason's former part in shared car Hermione. Bailey's speech moves everyone. Naomi sneaks off, realizing the house is empty, to meet with Josh intimately, but Sheila's early return force Josh, who had playfully dispensed of his boxers, to sneak out in his athletic birthday suit, past Bossy.
