Semyonov and Maksimov find a laptop in Semenchuk's apartment. Maksimov enters the password "architect", but it turns out to be incorrect, and the laptop explodes. In the Central District, a killer kills businessman Bykov. The case is being investigated by Somov and Kundryakov. They find out that Bykov used to work with Fomin. Arsenyev learns from his man in Moscow that they are not going to transfer him to the capital, since the general never caught the Architect. Katya, Efimov's girlfriend, gives an interview to journalists in which she asks to punish Semyonov and Mikhaylov.
