Mikhailov liked Inga Krylova, the new investigator for the central district. He tries to set up a meeting with her, and Semyonov, having figured out Andrey's plan, makes fun of him. Meanwhile, the art academy professor Igor Andriyanov is killed. While inspecting the scene, Krylova finds a nail on the wall of the apartment and claims that it will help solve the case. Zavyalova does not know what else can be done to close the case of Fomin, who is accused of premeditated murder of several people in the country. Fomin proposes a jury trial.
