""Holmgren's Heroes,"" as the Seahawks were called that year, had won their second and last AGC West title just the week before. They faced the Dolphins, who had backed into the playoffs themselves (thanks in part to a Seattle loss the week before). At times, the Seahawks thought they had the game in command, but Miami legend Dan Marino engineered a late-fourth-quarter comeback and a 20-17 win. It was the final victory in his, and Jimmy Johnson's, NFL career.
