One strategy involves enlisting drugs already in use for things like diabetes and strokes. Caregiving is also evolving to include touch and other tools for reaching the hearts of affected people. Practitioners have found that such methods can ease challenging symptoms, even in advanced cases. On this program, we report on global efforts to keep dementia in check.
