Stepping from her train and walking home through her cyberpunk home city, Kannita encounters a menacing Goth girl, runs away only to find a strange street engraving - a Toynbee Tile. While still trying to puzzle out its meaning, she is attacked by... MOTHMAN. - Alien BodiesE2
Alien BodiesKannita awakens in a hospital bed, watched over by the hyperactive Doctor Rao. After exiting the hospital she walks home, pondering what has happened and what it might mean. Once in her apartment she hits the internet hard, discovering the true identity of the winged entity that was the subject of her paranormal encounter. Meanwhile, the mysterious and sinister Mister King hears of her encounter, and decides that he would like to meet her. - CollisionsE3
CollisionsKannita locates an esoteric bookshop in the city and visits it to try and find better reference works on the Mothman. She is observed by Tanit who is obviously still following her. After a long exchange with the bookseller, Kannita is grabbed by a thug working for Mister King and taken to be interviewed by the flesh peddler at one his strip clubs. Tanit is chased by a bizarre black-suited figure and has to fight and run for her life. - Bird IdeasE5
Bird IdeasKannita is apparently on board a UFO, but whatever strange drugs or hypnosis have been applied to her is not working as intended, and the feisty young woman talks back to Indrid Cold and argues with the mysterious man from Lanulos. Eventually, the abductors give up and she is dumped back on Earth - if she ever left. - Red Car TheoryE6
Red Car TheoryKannita awakens on the floor of an abandoned gas station many miles from civilization. Desert surrounds the lonely location. A passing truck driver offers her a lift back to the city, but that is not where they end their journey. Meanwhile Tanit has defeated the last of the bizarre "Reds" sent by the Minority Society and limps off, both to get healing and to find Kannita. It's time for Kannita to "put on her big girl panties."
