Season 1

1945. The International Military Tribunal begins its work in Nuremberg. A huge number of people from all over the world come to the trial, which will later be called the Trial of the Century: the city is overflowing with journalists, lawyers, translators, witnesses and many participants and employees of the trial. Among those who come to Nuremberg to work on the Trial is Igor Volgin. He is young, but he went through the war, has awards, and speaks several foreign languages. Volgin is to be a translator in the Soviet delegation led by Colonel Migachev. One day on the streets of Nuremberg, Volgin meets a young Russian girl, Lena. Their nascent feelings will go through many trials, but love is the only thing that has always saved the world from dehumanization.

    Episode 1Captain Igor Volgin is sent as a translator to Nuremberg, where an international tribunal is being prepared for the trial of the German invaders and their accomplices.

    Episode 2During a battle with the Nazis who were trying to evacuate the archive, all the documents were burned. Volgin was left with only a miraculously preserved roll of film containing footage of atrocities in the concentration camps.

    Episode 3The motorcade carrying Volgin and the field marshal is ambushed. Paulus is killed, and Volgin rushes to the city to report the death of a key witness.

    Episode 4Volgin tries to persuade Werner to go to Elmut's lair to free Elsie and Lena. Migachev scolds Igor for acting arbitrarily, as they must do everything possible to ensure the trial takes place.
