Lord Shiva appears on mount Kailsh as promised. The Gods meet Lord Shiva, sing his praises and wonder where his other half Shakti is. Lord Shiva tells them that she will be born to Daksh and Veerni after they do penance and invoke her. Kamdev meets Daksh's daughter Rati and they fall in love. Kamdev knows that he cannot make people fall in love unless he is united with Rati. Brahma meets Kamdev who is on his way from Daksh's palace and takes him to Daksh. Daksh consents for Kamdev - Rati wedding.
