A terrorist act is being prepared in St. Petersburg. Only thanks to Larin's ability to think analytically, to compare the most, at first glance, insignificant facts and events, it is possible to calculate the place of the explosion, prevent it and catch the organizers, among whom was the prominent businessman Barkovsky. It was Barkovsky and his accomplices who staged the terrorist act and his abduction in order to hide abroad with a very large sum of money.
