Mentors Brent Camalich and Simone Bridges have assembled a dream team of five incredible kids who have already done incredible things in their hometowns and now will go on an epic road trip to help others across the country. All of the kids on 'Operation Awesome' are stellar service stars in their own right and prove that being little doesn't mean being less.

    Heroes' DayTwo mentors, Brent and Simone, team up with five young change makers, and together they kick off Operation Awesome: an epic road trip across the country to see the sites, meet some incredible people, team up with other young change makers, and transform communities. The crew meet for the first time in Fairfield, Connecticut, home to an incredible kid named Ella, founder of the Medi Teddy. Ella and the team create a plan to hold a parade in honor of Ella's mentor and all the local heroes in Fairfield.

    Give BackOperation Awesome continues as the team arrives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where they join forces with Tom and Hakeem, owners of The Block Gives Back. Together they transform The Block's headquarters into an inviting community center and create a more nutritious menu for the center's weekly offerings.
  • Branch Out

    Branch OutOperation Awesome heads to Altoona, Pennsylvania, to meet 14-year-old Jakob, owner of Seedz4Needz Inc. Jakob's organization grows and sells vegetables and uses the proceeds to provide toys for the local children's hospital. Operation Awesome transforms Jakob's food stand, revamps his greenhouse, and quadruples the size of his garden by building a community plot at the local high school. While in Altoona, just for fun the team stops by the Horseshoe Curve and takes a ride on the famous funicular.

    Puppy LoveOperation Awesome journeys to Brunswick, Ohio, to meet 10-year-old Brady, owner of Brady's K-9 Fund, an organization that raises money to buy protective vests for police dogs. Now Brady has the goal of creating a training facility for K-9s. Operation Awesome steps in to help.

    Kindness CountsOperation Awesome ventures to Fort Wayne, Indiana, to meet 11-year-old Sammie, creator of Sammie's Buddy Bench. Sammie's goal is to address loneliness by placing buddy benches in schools. Sammie and the team have the idea to get one of Sammie's benches in the city's park and to educate the whole community on the importance of plastic pollution and recycling.

    Big Bold Birthday BashOperation Awesome continues their operation in Cincinnati with Sarah Celenza of Meals On Wheels. Together they concoct a plan to address loneliness with the Meals on Wheels seniors. The team brainstorms a new program for seniors celebrating their birthdays. To launch the initiative, they surprise two seniors, Rhoda and Dorothy, with parties.

    Party HubOperation Awesome heads to West Liberty, Ohio, to meet Rocky Grimes, owner of The HUB, an organization that helps kids with special needs and varying abilities. Rocky shows the team his state of the art go-karts, and the team decides to help Rocky by hosting an open house for HUB.

    ChangemakersThe Operation Awesome team travels to their final destination, Gaithersburg, Maryland, where they meet seven-year-old Cavanaugh, founder of the nonprofit Cool and Dope, created to end bullying and spread positivity. Cavanaugh's organization is about to lose the storage space for its pantry, so Operation Awesome steps in with a plan to help.
