Ota Kovar solves the case of the patient Hynek Fojtik, whose kidneys quickly fail. Only a transplant can save a young man, but there's a catch - Hynek was a drug addict until recently, so he couldn't get into the waiting list for a new organ legally. Kovar is determined to falsify Fojtik's medical report and put him on the waiting list, because Hynek, after his brother's death for drugs, is serious about taking the cure and wants to change his life. Besides his signature, Kovar needs one more, so he asks Hanak - Meanwhile, Petr Hanak does not give up the hope that Andrea will be able to heal herself, and will even find her a place in a research program abroad. That's why she and Andrea are fighting again, because she knows it's not worth it - Hanak refuses to accept it and becomes desperate - Kveta hesitates to continue taking bribes, making it even worse when she meets a patient in the hospital who, due to a badly fitting orthosis, has suffered another injury and has to undergo surgery. On top of that, she gets another blow from Denisa, she won't see any money from her sold apartment.
