Hinata Tanabe, a freelance part-timer, is stalked by a man she met through a dating app and, after a terrifying ordeal, ends up losing her life. But instead of staying dead, she wakes up as a different person entirely — an office worker named Ayumi Saito — with no memory of what happened or why. While living as Ayumi, she gets caught up in trouble at a cosplayer photo shoot and dies once again in fear. She's then reborn yet again, this time as another office worker, Kanae Shindo. Unable to understand why she keeps becoming someone new each time she dies, Kanae grows increasingly bewildered. Meanwhile, Yamakazu (played by Yuya Takaki), a confrontational "ambush-style" live streamer, notices that a mysterious woman named Mayu Mizoguchi (played by Riko) seems connected to a series of murders happening around the city, and begins investigating on his own. Just who is Mayu, really? And the key to unlocking the entire mystery, it turns out, lies with a popular VTuber named "Yukusuru."
