Anna is the owner of a small studio, lives alone with her son Anton, a medical student. Anton's father died in an accident when the boy was just born. Having closed herself off from everyone, she stopped communicating with her friend Veronika, to whom her husband was going to leave on the day of the tragedy. Her son became the meaning of life for Anna. Ironically, Anton, having decided to get married, chooses Yulya, the daughter of that same Veronika, as his wife. From that moment on, Anna begins a real war with her potential daughter-in-law. She cannot allow Anton to marry the daughter of her rival. She threatens Yulya and, overcoming herself, even meets with Veronika... Will Anna change her plans when she finds out that Yulya is expecting a child from her son?
