Six well-known and very brave Danes throw themselves into the ultimate challenge when they have to sail across the Atlantic Ocean in a sailing ship in 21 days. It's not about getting there first, it's about getting there safely. Because it is a long and extremely dangerous journey that will push the participants to the limit, but at the same time make them wiser about themselves on the way to the destination in the Caribbean. Director and writer Hella Joof, actor Nikolaj Kopernikus, radio host Peter Falktoft, actor Sus Wilkens, DJ and dessert chef Christel Pixi and chef Gorm Wisweh make up the six participants in 'Over the Atlantic', who will together steer the 25 meter long sailing ship 'Challenger 93' over the vast Atlantic Ocean.
