Piano teacher at Conservatório de Música de Itajaí, Giovanni Sagaz is one of the most popular musicians of the state. Member of Itajazz band e keyboard player in several different projects, the musician recorded the DVD "Giovanni Sagaz interpreta Ernesto Nazareth" in 2011 and in 2017, recorded the album "Ainda é tempo", with songs of catarinense musicians.
