Parkin is naturally suspicious when a man turns up late at night and confesses to murdering a girl he had met. Having caused some trouble earlier on his motorbike before giving Parkin the slip, the absence of a body makes Parkin think he is being taken for a fool. Things look more serious though when a 17 year old girl is reported missing from a local approved school.
