After the attack by Changretta's gang Tommy gathers the surviving family members to declare a truce amongst themselves though not all of them are happy that he has called upon gypsy Aberama Gold and his men to help. Tommy's factories are still running and he sees a lucrative opportunity in promoting Gold's son Bonnie, a promising boxer, but disaster looms when Jessie Eden calls a strike and Changretta visits Tommy with a scary message.
