To Kashibais surprise, Bajirao comes to her room and asks her to join him at the roof top. However, to her disappointment, Bajirao only talks about the new responsibilities she will have to fulfil in her role as the Peshwin bai. Heartbroken, Kashibai shares her frustration with Rakhmabai. In the morning, however, Kashibai finds Bajirao in her room. Bajirao apologises to her as the duo share a rare romantic moment.
