The dramatic life story of the legendary singer Pyotr Leshchenko. The film will tell about his childhood and youth, which took place in Chisinau, about the battles in the First World War, about ardent love, about the beginning of his career and about the days of national glory. In the midst of the Great Patriotic War, Leshchenko, despite all the dangers, goes on tour to occupied Odessa - and only miraculously returns from there alive to soon go to prison.
