Vera shows children how to make a paper lantern, reads a story about Busy Lizzie and her 3 wishes, plays with some chicks, reads a story about Jack Tar and talks about mustard and cress. The stories are all acted out by marionette puppets, and Vera is joined by sausage the dog marionette for the other segments.
