PINGU is doing very badly at his sports day. When it comes to the last event, the race PINGU does unexpectedly badly but it then emerges that he stopped to help a friend who had hurt himself meaning that Robby wins the race. He is given the cup for his kind behaviour. When PINGU goes home to show off the cup he places it on the side of the stove where is melts; luckily he has a photograph to prove he got the top prize.
